Informing Framework
Gradual Release of Responsibility Model has effectively been used throughout the unit plan to lower level of teacher support and increase the amount of student control. This has been applied when students begin a new concept the teacher starts with teacher demonstration before moving onto modelled and shared writing and students are given the opportunity to write individually.
Literacy and the Australian Curriculum has been incorporated to plan not only the overall unit plan but each specific learning experience. By looking at content descriptions and elaborations and the specific strands of English it is easy to address what is required.
Semiotic Systems have been incorporated to allow for multiple learning styles.
